Guten Tag!

It is official...I am in love with this city! I am going to have to figure out a way to live here someday :)

We spent the morning checking out flea markets and wow, was that ever overwhelming. This week I just observed and got accustomed to the craziness of the flea market. Next week I shall attempt to bargain for something. Hmmm...I guess I should learn some german by next week then! I feel absolutely illiterate and mute here! My goal is to at least learn to be polite in German by the end of the summer!

I also have a new favourite beer. It is called Wittinger (or as Artemis liked to call it "vinegar"). However, it certainly doesn't taste like vinegar. Even Artemis would agree, her dad gave her a sip and she rubbed her belly and said "yum yum". That-a-girl!
I definitely think I am going to drink alot of beer this summer. I have been here for 3 days and I have have not gone a day without having at least one beer. Nemy's bottlecap collection is certainly growing.

Honestly though, I am having such a great time. I wish you all could be here to experience this place. I am excited to really begin exploring this week. This weekend has mostly been about getting adjusted and settling in and starting tomorrow I would really like to start setting off on my own and figuring out more about this city.

Also, I have decided that I am going to check out new churched each week. Starting next week with the most famous church in Berlin, the Kaiser-Wilhelm Memorial church. Nemy really wants to go to church with me so that will be fun.
